Pros of My Jaw-Dropping Stay at This Mind-Blowing Hostel

The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a family with children like us. We loved having our own private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The air conditioning in the double room kept us cool during the hot Perth weather. We enjoyed the convenience of the in-room full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The hostel provided linen for the dormitory rooms, making our stay hassle-free.
Personally, we would have preferred if the bathrooms were not shared.

I really liked the cozy atmosphere of the hostel. The decorations had a lovely vintage charm, which made me feel right at home. The common areas were tastefully furnished and provided comfortable seating for us seniors to relax and chat with fellow travelers. I also appreciated the accessibility of the hostel, with easily reachable elevators and well-lit corridors. It made getting around much easier for someone like me.
I would have loved to see some activities or excursions specifically catered towards senior guests. Perhaps some gentle walking tours or informative talks about the local history and culture.

Me and my friends had the best time ever at this hostel. The location was sick, right near the Barrack Street Jetty Ferry Terminal and Jacobs Ladder. We loved catching the ferry and climbing the ladder, it was lit! And the best part was, the hostel had free internet so we could post all our sick pics on social media.
Only thing we wished was that the hostel had a party vibe. We're young and love to party, so it would've been dope if they had some events or a bar where we could turn up and meet new people.

Spacious kitchen and common areas, clean rooms and comfy beds. The washing machines were the best I've had in Australia. The owner was approachable and understanding about the key security deposit. Fast Wi-Fi and plenty of storage space in the kitchen and room.
It was all superb.

The noise level could be a bit distracting at times.

The price was reasonable for what was offered, and the location was pretty prime. There was a secure gated entrance and the vibe was relaxed which was cool.
Unfortunately the bunk beds and mattresses were really awful. the bathrooms were never clean and there was nowhere to put your things which made it hard to get ready.

I had a great experience staying at the hostel. the owner, Marco, was really laid back and open, minded. He even let me off the hook for the key security deposit and allowed me to extend my reservation without any issues. the beds were alright, although they may be slightly uncomfortable for bonier people. the rooms were generally clean, except for some ants crawling around. the 4, bed female dorm I stayed in was surprisingly roomy. the facilities were well, maintained, with a main kitchen and a smaller one to use. There were also clean toilets and complete kitchenware. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the CBD with easy access to the Free Cat Bus station. The staff were helpful and friendly, even greeting me when I arrived early in the morning. Cons: None 🙌.

Great value for money! Free and fast internet, and large and clean rooms. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transport and plenty of nearby convenience stores and supermarkets.
The common spaces could use more attention throughout the day to avoid getting messy, and the beds were not the most comfortable.

The owner, Marco, was cute and helpful throughout my stay. He showed me around the hotel and was available 24/7 for any questions or concerns. The rooms were simple but well-equipped with comfortable bunk beds and lockers for each guest. The large kitchen was perfect for socializing with other guests and had all the necessary equipment. The bathrooms were always clean and had hot water. The location was great, just a short walk from downtown and Northbridge, or you could take the convenient free bus service. There was even a nearby convenience store and a restaurant with a discount. I had a pleasant and refreshing stay at Downtown Backpackers and would highly recommend it.

It was so convenient to be able to explore the city on foot and not have to worry about transportation. The hotel also provides tours and ticket assistance, making it even easier to plan our activities.
We would highly recommend this place to everyone!
